He’s worried that his supporters have unrealistic expectations after he’s spent the last how many months promising them all kinds of freebies:

Barack Obama’s senior advisers have drawn up plans to lower expectations for his presidency if he wins next week’s election, amid concerns that many of his euphoric supporters are harboring unrealistic hopes of what he can achieve.

Like this woman who thinks that she won’t have to worry about paying for her gas and mortgage under an Obama presidency?Or maybe the Evangelicals and Catholics who claim Obama will reduce the number of abortions (since he’s promised to address the underlying causes of unwanted pregnancy), even though he plans to sign the Freedom of Choice Act, making it his number one priority. Here’s a video of him making that promise:This would mean 125,000 more babies will be aborted each year. Not quite the change that they had in mind (I would hope).Or how about those who have been singing songs of praise and worship to Obama:With the lowering of expectations, will he still be saying, “Yes we can?” If not, these people will be really disappointed:(via)But the lowering of expectations came too late for this guy who left a suicide note with this message:

“Obama take care of my family.”
