If I were this reporter, I would be so embarrassed by this article. It is the most banal reporting I’ve ever read:

The two leaders waited in line and then went right up to the counter where the meat was being grilled and ordered.
What did they order?
“I’ll have a swiss cheese burger with jalapeno peppers and ketchup,” Biden said to the cashier. “Do you put the ketchup on it or do we do that ourselves?”
For the president?
“I’m going to have a basic cheddar cheese burger, medium well, with mustard,” Obama said. “Do you have spicy mustard? I’ll take that.”

Go read the rest, it doesn’t get any better but you’ll miss the part about the tater puffs.
The whole thing reeks of photo op and campaigning. When does Obama plan to come off the campaign trail and actually do something to help the economy?
I have to admit that I did get a little hungry while reading about the burgers but I went to Friday’s yesterday and had their burger and fries (the fries were just out of the fryer and were soooo good) and since it’s time to go to bed I better ignore the allure of the burger (they are really tempting). And I’m certainly not going to drive to DC for one 🙂
