The guard is in critical condition

A lone gunman wounded a security guard at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum on Wednesday before being injured by return fire, according to police and a museum statement.
The suspect was identified as James von Brunn, an 88-year-old white supremacist from Maryland, two law enforcement officials told CNN.

A private security guard and the shooting suspect were wounded, according to officials of the Washington police.

If that guard hadn’t stopped him, this could have been a lot worse. Praying that the guard makes it.
BTW, if you search for the shooters name (I had to use Yahoo because Google isn’t working for me), James von Brunn, you can see how whacked he was. This post to his blog is pretty heinous, he denies that Hitler gassed the Jews and said that was his worst mistake.
Update: Mark Knoller just tweeted that the security guard has died. Thanking the Lord for his bravery and praying for his family.
