For those of you who still don’t get it, let John Stossel why:Here’s a link to The Cure: How Capitalism Can Save American Health Care by Dr. David Gratzer mentioned in piece. He experienced the rationing of healthcare as a physician in Canada. I think he’s probably a good source for what’s it’s like to live under the “public option” and he thinks capitalism is the way to solve the problem.BTW, for those of you who keep mentioning that healthcare is rationed in the U.S. now, let me just state the obvious once and for all: you don’t have to impose government run healthcare on the rest of us to provide healthcare for those who do not have it. Why should we adopted the failed Canadian healthcare system? And as I’ve stated in the comment section of various posts, I’d rather be turned down for a procedure by an insurance company than the federal government because I can sue the insurance company for any harm I experience due to their negligence but I can’t sue the federal government. As noted in the Stossel report, capitalism means innovation. We need to retain that aspect to continue the breakthroughs that are being made in cancer research and in other diseases. (via and @jjameybennett)
