President Barack Obama revealed that Iran had been forced to admit to the existence of the facility at Qom, 100 miles southwest of Tehran, after Western intelligence agencies presented evidence to the International Atomic Energy Agency on Thursday last week.The Iranians then wrote to the IAEA on Monday, informing the watchdog “that a new pilot fuel enrichment plant is under construction in the country,” the agency said in a statement.[…]Western officials are in little doubt that the underground site’s primary purpose is to enrich uranium for nuclear bombs. It is only capable of manufacturing 3,000 centrifuges a year, enough for one bomb, whereas a nuclear energy facility requires at least 50,000 centrifuges.
So what do our leaders do now? Do we have to wait for Israel to bomb Iran? (Though, if Brzezinski had his way, we’d shoot down their planes) Are they finally ready to cripple Iran by cutting of their gas supply?
