I was sick this weekend (I have a very painful infection) so I got the chance to finish my first book in the Chunkster Challenge, Labyrinth. As I mention before, it is pretty much a romance novel, in fact, it’s two romance novels for the price of one. I’ve been debating whether I would do a review of it, I was thinking that it didn’t rate a review but I need the practice, so I think I’ll write one anyway. I’m going to start reading two books next but haven’t decided on which two yet. I’m also going to read Confessions of an Amateur Believer because I promised I would review it for the blogs. I started it at Christmas but I was pretty distracted reading it so I decided to try again after the holidays. So, here it is and I better get going before the semester starts up again.
I realized this weekend that I’ve pretty much been coasting in the Bible study department. I tried to write something for the Blogging Chicks Carnival but got nowhere. That tells me that I’m not connecting with the material the way I used to. So, I think that I’m going to have to really think about what I need to do to get back into it. I hope this means that you will be seeing a Revelation study here tomorrow in time for the Christian Carnival 🙂
But I won’t be working on it tonight because Heroes resumes tonight (woo hoo!). I’ve so been looking forward to this! I have been waiting to see what happens to Peter and who is the new hero since before Christmas. It has taken forever. OK, got to run it’s on.
