I was just watching the third Terminator movie last night (my husband said to me “this movie…again“) and I said to myself, “gee, I wonder if they were ever going to make another Terminator movie” and bingo–here it is in the news today.

Christian Bale is to play rebel leader John Connor in three sequels to the Terminator franchise, its producers have revealed.
The Welsh-born star, who is soon to be seen in Batman Begins sequel The Dark Knight, has already started shooting the first of those films, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.

I can totally see him as John Connor. No word on whether Arnold will reprise his role as the Terminator yet. Just doesn’t seem to fit him anymore being the Governor of California now.
