Congress never intended to end the war, they knew that they didn’t have the power to do so but they realized you guys didn’t understand that. Vote for Obama because you think he’s end the war? He isn’t going to bring the troops home until 2009 and if things aren’t settled then, he’ll probably keep them there longer but make the pretense of pulling some. And even if he does pull our troops from Iraq, he’s only ending one war and the jihadists and Iran will move their resources to Afghanistan and fight their war with us there. Then what will you do? Protest the war in Afghanistan off course. Everyone talks about our war in Iraq but what about Afghanistan. No one is saying how long that war will last.BTW, the Democrats should be thankful that they have control of the education system in the US because without their willing accomplices in education, they never would have gotten away with their nefarious scheme.(via)
