I’m sorry but something is wrong with you if you need merchandise so badly that you would rush a store to get it.

A worker died after being trampled and a woman miscarried when hundreds of shoppers smashed through the doors of a Long Island Wal-Mart Friday morning, witnesses said.
The unidentified worker, employed as an overnight stock clerk, tried to hold back the unruly crowds just after the Valley Stream store opened at 5 a.m.

I can see being moved along by the crowd and have no choice (this has actually happened to me before) but people were still trying to get into the store while the paramedics were trying to save his life:

Before police shut down the store, eager shoppers streamed past emergency crews as they worked furiously to save the store clerk’s life.
“They were working on him, but you could see he was dead, said Halcyon Alexander, 29. “People were still coming through.”

I wouldn’t want the iPod Touch, the HP laptop, Samsung camera if I knew that someone died so that I could get. How can you give your gift to someone knowing that it’s associated with a death? Especially if you were one of the people who trampled on the Wal-Mart clerk.
