If Obama’s healthcare “reform” is enacted according to the new House proposal to soak the rich for the cost of the “reform:”

Congressional plans to fund a massive health-care overhaul could have a job-killing effect on New York, creating a tax rate of nearly 60 percent for the state’s top earners and possibly pressuring small-business owners to shed workers.

The $544 billion tax hike would violate one of President Obama’s ironclad campaign promises: No family will pay higher tax rates than they would have paid in the 1990s.

Did anyone really believe that promise when Rangel kept talking about allowing Bush’s tax cuts to sunset and adding more taxes?
But of course, who cares about the rich? They can afford it, right? And why shouldn’t they pay for healthcare for those who can’t afford it? But is that what they’re paying for? Is anyone really getting free healthcare out of this bill? Are the trillions going to pay for the uninsured?
Personally, I can’t see why this isn’t consider stealing. Though, they did bring it on themselves. The NYC rich probably voted for Obama. He carried the state and the city. I guess it’s a good lesson for them to live with the consequences of their vote.
