More fallout from the Massachusetts upset? Maybe.
Vice President Biden’s son Beau announced Monday that he will not run for his father’s old Senate seat, leaving the Republican in the race without a Democratic opponent.
In a written statement, Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden said he had given “serious consideration” to running for Senate but ultimately decided to run for re-election as attorney general.

In Delaware, Biden’s pass leaves GOP Rep. Mike Castle, a former governor, in the race without Democratic opposition.
Probably not a good year for dynasties.
But I think he has a really good reason for running for another term as attorney general:
Biden said he wants to continue as attorney general and his work as head of the Child Predator Task force, which helps the children of abuse and their families.
His office has been busy with the prosecution of Dr. Earl Bradley, a pediatrician charged in December with raping nine female patients aged between three months and 13 years.
