The corona virus is scaring the world. It is a virus that took the wold by surprise and for which, as of now, there is no treatment. Scientists are working hard to find a way to curb this epidemic.

Locusts are ravaging parts of Africa and now are moving on the border of China. There seems to be no stopping them. They strip all vegetation in the their path and are known to carry disease.

This seems straight out of the Bible. Well, it is. The scriptures predict there will be plagues in the end times.

I am not one to preach end-times messages or beat the drum unnecessarily but we are told to discern the signs and times. And I believe we are witnessing the events Jesus talked about in Luke chapter 21.

“Nation will rise up against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be great earthquakes, and in various places plagues and famines; and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven…”

We are to know the signs and times we live in. And we can pray for discernment and wisdom. And that we remain steadfast through it all.
