Want to be trendy but watching your cholesterol and your waist line? Don’t worry. Here it is! Kool-Aid Fudge. No deep-frying, just delicious yummyness.
You can be the first person among your friends to make Linda’s Kool-Aid Fudge. Pick your favorite Kool-Aid flavor. Mine was root beer but, alas, it is no longer being made.
Try a single flavor, such as grape or strawberry. Then experiment to find your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid fudge. You won’t be disappointed.
Linda’s Kool-Aid Fudge
1 envelop of Kool-Aid
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of butter
2/3 cup of mil
Dash of salt
Put all ingredients into a heavy 2 quart sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir until mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in a cup of cold water.
Remove from heat and beat with a manual or electric beater until thick. Spread into a small greased pan. Cool. Cut into about 18 pieces.
