Miranda Lambert recently appeared at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala with husband, former NYPD police officer Brendan McLoughlin, where she said she believes his talents should be shared with the people just as she shares her music with the world. While speaking to Fox News Digital at the gala, Lambert was asked about her recent post on Instagram. The post consisted of shirtless photos of her husband while they were celebrating their four year wedding anniversary in Mexico with the ending of the caption saying, “Y’all are welcome for the last two pics.” Lambert discussed the photos saying, “I told him, I operate in my gift. I’m a singer-songwriter … I believe that my job, given my gift, is take songs to the people, so if you’re given this gift you should take that to the people.” She laughed saying, “You’re welcome world.”

Lambert met her husband in 2018 when she appeared on “Good Morning America” while doing press with her group the Pistol Annies. At the time, McLoughlin was working security and Lambert’s band mates invited him to their show afterwards so Lambert could meet him. The pair hit it off and tied the knot in January 2019. While attending the Pre-Grammy’s Gala, both Lambert and McLoughlin agreed that communication is what keeps their relationship so strong. “If you can actually just sit on the couch and discuss what’s on your mind and what’s in your heart … makes everything so much easier,” said McLoughlin. “And fun, we like to have fun,” Lambert added.

Lambert was previously married to fellow country music star, Blake Shelton, where they tied the knot in 2011 before calling it quits in 2015.
