Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton recently celebrated a significant milestone. The “Honey Bee” and “True Babe” singers marked two years of marriage together. Stefani took to her official Instagram page to celebrate the occasion and shared a series of reflective snapshots and home videos.

The heartwarming video shows the beautiful couple on their wedding day as Shelton lifts Stefani in the air. Then, we see the two cuddling in an intimate moment with big smiles on their faces before we see Shelton in his Easter bunny costume from earlier this year. The couple then stands next to each other in matching camo before the following clip, where they walk hand in hand onto a red carpet together.

Shelton then teases Stefani while the two grab dinner in the next moment, and then we see the couple proudly enter the Grand Ole Opry in Tennessee. Stefani gushed, “Happy anniversary, @blakeshelton; I love you.” Shelton also gave his wife a shoutout on his official Instagram page. “Happy anniversary, @gwenstefani!!!! Every day has been the best day since I met you,” Shelton wrote alongside a photo of the two on their wedding day.

The couple met in April of 2014 when they were both coaches on “The Voice.” At the time, both were still married to their previous spouses. Shelton was married to fellow country singer Miranda Lambert, while Stefani was married to rocker Gavin Rossdale. The two posted their first photo on Instagram in November of the same year. Stefani posted her first photo with the country singer while on The Voice set, simply captioning the snap, “?him @blakeshelton @nbcthevoice gx.”

The coworkers soon became confidants when they went through their heartbreaks in the summer of 2015. Lambert and Shelton divorced in July, and Stefani and Rossdale split in August. Stefani told Howard Stern in July 2016 that when Shelton shared his split from Lambert to the “Voice” team, she went “white.” Stefani admitted of the moment Shelton broke the news, “I was in shock because I felt like he was exposing me. I just couldn’t even wrap my head around it. I didn’t want anyone to know what was going on with me. I had this huge weight on me, and nobody but my parents and obviously everyone involved knew.”

Then, Stefani started to open up to Shelton about the end of her marriage. She said, “It was during that time he came to my chair. I never saw him look so upset. So then I was like, ‘I gotta talk to you.’” Stefani added it was “unbelievable that God would put us in a position to have each other at that moment, in the same exact moment.” She also noted that she “wasn’t trying to start a relationship,” it just happened..’”

The couple officially started dating in November 2015. They announced their engagement on Oct. 27, 2020, with Stefani sharing a photo of her ring alongside her new fiancé. The caption? A simple “Yes, please!” Shelton shared the same post with a sweet caption of his own. “Hey @gwenstefani, thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.” he wrote. “I love you. I heard a YES!”

Shelton and Stefani tied the knot at the country singer’s Tishomingo ranch over the Fourth of July weekend, and the rest is history. Congratulations to Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani on two years of marriage!
