Ayesha and Stephen Curry are officially a family of six! The couple announced the birth of their fourth child, a baby boy named Caius Chai, in a joint Instagram post. They shared that Caius was born earlier in the month on May 11th. “Our sweet baby boy decided to make an early arrival!! He’s doing great and we are finally settling in at home as a family of 6! So grateful!” said the caption. “Caius Chai 5/11/24.”

Caius joins the Curry crew with three older siblings, Riley, 11, Ryan, 8 and Canon, 5. Ayesha, a business owner and chef, announced her pregnancy on the cover of her magazine in March. In the announcement article, Curry said that she and her NBA star husband thought that their family was complete until one day when they both agreed that they felt “somebody was missing” from their family. . I’d be loading up the car, or setting the dinner table, and I’d be like, ‘I feel like we shouldn’t call it at three.’ And he was like, ‘Music to my ears,’” said Ayesha in an interview with NBC. “He would want ten kids,” she joked. “Easy for him to say, right?” She added, “Everything’s just feeling so balanced, so we’re really excited.” Ayesha also wrote about how fun it had been to watch her children react to her fourth pregnancy. She said that Riley is “skeptical but excited, but just kind of like, ‘Another one,’” while Ryan is very “physical,” so she kept checking her belly. Canon, is “enamored with everything” and constantly asking how big the baby is. “Getting to experience this through [Canon’s] eyes and through Ryan and Riley’s eyes has been so cool,” she shared. “Their perspectives are so different, and it’s been the most exciting thing.”
