Katherine Schwarzenegger has another baby on the way! According to multiple sources, Katherine and her husband, Chris Pratt, are expecting their third child together.
Since their marriage in 2019, the union of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor and the Gift of Forgiveness author has been blessed with two beautiful daughters: Lyla, 3, and Eloise, 2. Chris, 45, is also a proud father to 11-year-old Jack from his previous marriage to Anna Faris.
In a new post on her Instagram account on June 28, Katherine kept her back to the camera to keep her baby bump out of sight. She visited a barn with her two daughters and shared photos of them riding the horses! “Things that make me happy: A gloomy morning followed by a barn visit ☺️❤️,” she captioned the post.

During a recent interview, Chris shared his heartfelt admiration for his children, describing them as sweet, polite, kind, joyous little angels. He and Katherine, 34, are committed to raising their children in an environment where they feel comfortable expressing themselves. There’s a new age of parenting, Chris observed, contrasting it with his own upbringing where obeying parents was non-negotiable. Now, he finds himself occasionally struggling to say no to his girls, admitting they have him wrapped around their fingers.
Chris’s reflections on fatherhood highlight the tender and unique bond he shares with his daughters. “I hate to make generalizations based on gender, but, in my experience, girls are more emotional,” he said. “They like to hear stories more than they like to wrestle.” He also noted the planning and organization that goes into their day-to-day lives, a trait he credits to Katherine’s influence. “But even the differences between my two daughters,” he added, “just goes to show that every child is a little bit different.”
Parenthood has been equally transformative for Katherine. In a 2021 essay on her mother, Maria Shriver’s website, she shared the profound impact of motherhood on her life. “When I became a mother, I felt like everything in my life had led me right to that baby being put on my chest, and it was perfect,” she wrote. Katherine’s journey into motherhood has also deepened her relationship with her own mother. I have always had an immense amount of respect for my mom, but since becoming a mother myself, my respect and admiration for her is out of this world.
As they prepare to welcome their new addition, Chris and Katherine continue to inspire with their faith-filled approach to parenting. They draw strength and wisdom from their Christian beliefs and the loving support of their family.
