After more than six decades in the entertainment industry, Donny Osmond has not only endured but thrived. Reflecting on his lasting success, the singer, actor, and entertainer credits his unwavering faith and the strength of his marriage for keeping him grounded in the often-chaotic world of show business.

“I’m so grateful. I’ve got a strong marriage and a good foundation — my faith keeps me strong,” Osmond shared in a recent interview with Fox News Digital. “I know a lot of people might say that’s kind of square, but no, I’m a God lover, and I respect deity. Jesus Christ is the center of my life, and that’s what keeps my feet on the ground.”

At 66, Osmond’s faith is a guiding light in his personal life and career, helping him navigate the challenges of an industry he’s known since childhood. “That gives me the foundation that I have, that I can keep going in this really, really tough business. But it’s rewarding as well,” he added.

One of the key pillars of Osmond’s life is his long-standing marriage to Debbie, whom he met as a teenager. The couple married in 1978, and their relationship has flourished for over four decades. While marriages in Hollywood often struggle under the pressures of fame, Osmond’s connection with his wife has been a beacon of stability.

Their enduring love is a testament to their commitment, something Osmond cherishes deeply. “I’ve got a strong marriage,” he noted, highlighting how the strength of their bond has contributed to his success in both life and career.

In addition to faith and marriage, Osmond believes that his ability to reinvent himself constantly has allowed him to remain relevant in an industry known for fleeting fame. From his early days as a child star to his more recent Las Vegas residency, Osmond has continuously evolved.

“You’ve got to keep doing new things. You’ve got to go to another height, climb another mountain constantly,” Osmond said of his approach to his career. “It’s a lot of work, especially when you’re going from a teenybopper career to an adult or a mature entertainer.”

Osmond’s Las Vegas residency at Harrah’s, which has been extended until 2025, is a prime example of his dedication to reinvention. In just 90 minutes, the show takes audiences on a journey through six decades of show business, showcasing not only his vast catalog of music but also his adaptability as a performer.

Throughout his career, Osmond has faced the challenge of being taken seriously as an adult performer after achieving massive success as a teen idol. “There’s a lot of roadblocks when you hit it so big as a teenybopper,” he admitted, but over time, Osmond has learned to embrace his past rather than resist it.

For instance, there was a period in the 1980s when Osmond struggled with performing “Puppy Love,” one of his most iconic songs from his teenage years. “I never even wanted to hear the song again,” he said. But now, he has a renewed appreciation for it. “It was a great song when I was 14 years old. It got me where I am today. Embrace it.”

Osmond’s Las Vegas show includes tributes to both his days on the “Donny & Marie” show and his success with the Osmond Brothers. These moments serve as a nostalgic trip for fans while also reminding Osmond of the hard work and dedication that brought him to where he is today.

Looking back, Osmond says he would tell his younger self to “smile a little bit more, laugh a little bit more, enjoy the ride a little bit more.”

As Osmond continues to perform and reinvent himself, he never loses sight of the two things that have kept him grounded throughout his life: his family and his faith. His marriage to Debbie, now spanning over 45 years, remains a cornerstone of his stability. His faith in God provides him with the strength and humility needed to navigate the highs and lows of his career.
