Wedding bells are ringing in North Texas!

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott announced Friday he and his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, had gotten engaged. Prescott announced his engagement on Instagram, posting a celebratory picture of the couple with their seven-month-old daughter, Margaret Jane. The heartwarming caption read, “Forever with @sarahjane.”

In a sweet and memorable proposal, Margaret Jane, affectionately called “MJ” by her parents, played a special role. In the photo, MJ is dressed in an adorable onesie that says, “Mommy, daddy has a question for you,” as she’s held by her kissing parents.

Prescott and Ramos were first linked in September 2023, after she attended the Cowboys’ win over the Giants in Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season. Shortly thereafter, he and Ramos made their relationship public, and it was about seven months later when Ramos gave birth to the couple’s first child, making a proud public announcement about the birth.

Earlier this year, Prescott reflected on how becoming a father has transformed his outlook on life. “I feel different,” he shared in March. “When you wake up and see that baby, it changes everything. You understand new responsibilities. All the things I’ve wanted for myself, I now want even more for someone else. It’s special… We’re all healthy, and we’re blessed to have her home with us.”

Ramos also expressed her joy on Instagram at the time, calling parenting their daughter the “biggest blessing life has to offer.” She added, “We are so fortunate that you are ours! Welcome to the world, baby girl, you will always be loved and protected. We are so IN LOVE with you. Love, Mom & Dad.”

Prescott, who signed a four-year, $240 million contract extension with $231 million guaranteed, making him the highest-paid player in the NFL, is ready for this new chapter both on and off the field!
