Sadie Robertson Huff and her husband, Christian Huff, announced baby number 2 on their Instagram pages last week. Along with the caption, “another little miracle is in motion” the couple shared an image of themselves and their one-year-old daughter, Honey, and a sonogram picture of their new baby. Robertson Huff’s mother, Korie Robertson, also shared the news, writing, “I have the VERY BEST NEWS to share!! Honey’s going to be a big sister!!” Robertson Huff is the daughter of Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson, whose family came to fame with the popular “Duck Dynasty” show. The family is known for their Christian values and Sadie Robertson Huff has been busy preaching to others about finding themselves in Christ.

Robertson Huff, 25, and her husband met in 2018 while she was in Florida crab hunting. “My sister actually had known Christian for the year before we met and they were all friends. He has a younger brother and they were friends. So I knew about Christian, but I just knew him as my sister’s friend who I’d never met, so I didn’t think much into it,” she told People after the couple tied the knot November 2019. After meeting Christian on the crab hunting expedition, he teased her about following everyone in his family except him on social media. After she followed him, she received a direct message he’d sent her two years prior. “I don’t get messages on my Instagram unless I follow that person, and when I followed him a message popped up that he had tried to send me two years ago that I never saw. It was the sweetest message ever…

We have been talking since that DM. I guess you can say it started in the DMs but more so started crab hunting on the beach,” she recalled.

Nearly one year after the wedding, the couple announced they were expecting their first child. Speaking on her podcast, “WHOA That’s Good,” she stated that the pregnancy was a surprise. “I guess we shouldn’t have been that surprised, but we were super surprised and so I didn’t think I was pregnant at all. We had actually just been at my best friend Laney’s gender-reveal party and everybody was like, ‘You’re next, you’re next!’ And I was like, ‘I don’t really know if it’s our timing right now,” she said. Very shortly after, the couple confirmed the pregnancy. Robertson Huff had previously spoken candidly about being pregnant during the COVID-19 pandemic and battling the sickness while she was pregnant. “The hardest thing was I did get COVID while I was pregnant and I was so sick from that, and so sick still in the morning sickness, so that was a challenge. Seriously, my heart goes out to every single pregnant person with COVID and everybody with COVID. They were telling me at the hospital, they were like, ‘Man, people have to deliver with it.’ I can’t even imagine,” she told People.

There had been early speculations about Robertson Huff’s pregnancy when she dressed up as Lori Greiner from “Shark Tank” for Halloween. She had a “Squatty Potty” over her tummy, which caused social media users to speculate she was hiding a baby bump. She hasn’t released an exact due date but did reveal on her Instagram stories “Another little May baby on the way.”
