Country singer Luke Combs and his wife Nicole have welcomed their second child, Beau Lee Combs. The pair announced his birth via Instagram, sharing a Polaroid photo of the newborn’s feet, with the caption, “8.15.2023 – Beau Lee Combs. Welcome to the world. We couldn’t love you more.” Baby Beau, who was originally due in September, arrived a bit early while Combs was touring in Australia. Nicole previously spoke with Country Now and revealed that she was trying not to go into early labor until Luke got back from tour. “I’m not due until after he gets back [from Australia], so I’m trying really hard not to go into early labor. With [our first child] Tex, I was doing everything in my power to get him out & he was a day early.”

Luke and Nicole are already parents to 14-month-old Tex Lawrence, who was born June 19, 2022. The pair revealed the news that they were expecting baby number two by having Tex wear a “Big Brother” t-shirt during a photoshoot last winter. They captioned the photos “Joining the 2 under 2 club! Baby boy #2 coming this September!!”  In May, the couple debuted Nicole’s baby bump at the 2023 ACM Awards. While speaking to People on the red carpet about the couple’s preparations for their second child, Combs said “We’re getting ready. We’re just in it. We’re in the trenches, taping grenades. [We’re] excited for the second one. They’re gonna be close [in age], but I feel like we’ll be in practice.”

Nicole and Luke have been together since 2016 when they met at a songwriters festival in Florida. “Nicole was by Luke’s side long before he became a country music sensation,” Country Now shared. “The couple met during the 2016 Key West Songwriters Festival in Florida. At the time, Nicole was working at BMI, who served as the host of the event, and Combs was a performer.” They tied the knot on August 1, 2020 at their southern Florida home in an intimate ceremony with their close friends and family.
