It seems that Idol standout Jason Castro has finally found a place where he belongs – Christian music.  The dread lock-headed pop artist’s latest single “You Are” made its way into the top 10 on the Billboard Christian Chart last week.  While Castro’s first album was a secular release, his new album Who I Am is focused on his Christian Faith.  That decision has worked out well thus far, and being true to himself has brought in many new fans.

Corresponding with the success of the new single Castro announced that he will be joining Winter Jam 2011.  He will be getting the crowd ready as an earlier act, but given the success of his second album that may not last for long.
