Typically Bonnaroo is an event that doesn’t appeal to me outside of one or two artists. Over the years the 4 day Tennessee event has gotten increasingly better, and this year they really went all out. There are so many GRAMMY winners and nominees that it will make your head spin, and that is even before you get to the classic artists appearing. Here is just a small sampling:
Arcade Fire
Eminem
The Black Keys
Niel Young
Mumford and Sons
Allison Krauss & Union Station
Florence + The Machine
Loretta Lynn
That short list is really only scratching the surface. Seriously, I attempted to write a post containing descriptions about the recent successes of the artists performing, but it would have been even longer than my last post about the Justin Bieber Bible Study. One of my favorite things about festival line-ups is wondering what it would be like for the artists to be in the same room together, but there is so much solid gold here that I don’t even know where to begin.
Let’s put this down at the first year I would consider going to Bonnaroo, and after you see this list that may be the case for you too.
