Another week, another burst of Lady Gaga news, and another burst of comments from the Lady Gaga lovers and haters.  Happy Monday!

First of all, she released the cover of her new album which is pictured above.  Yes, that is the real cover.  It’s a… Gagacycle?  It is so eye-catchingly ugly that it is hard to believe it is an actual album cover.  Is she trying to hint that she is going to be in the new Transformers movie?  I always thought “Born This Way” had a deep meaning, but apparently she is just trying to justify being born as half-motorcycle, half-human.  Yeah, I don’t get it either.

Secondly, her new single “Judas” comes as a timely launch on Easter weekend, and you can hear it here.  The video is evidently so offensive that it is angering Catholic groups who haven’t even seen it yet!  Man, that must be one offensive video!  As far as the song, well, I admit that I find it’s message confusing.  I listened and read through the lyrics a couple of times, and I’m no closer to understanding what she is trying to say.  Is she trying to make Judas more of a symphathetic character?  Is she saying that Judas is awesome?  Is she saying that Judas is an idiot?  I really don’t know, all I know is that the song is annoying and uninspired.

That’s enough to keep me from listening.

What do you think?
