This is a break from the regular blog, “The Plan”.

I saw a panda run into oncoming traffic. Not really, that was just to get your attention. But that would be pretty creepy, especially since there isn’t a zoo within two hours of where I live. (which is the middle of everywhere/nowhere, depending on how I feel when I wake up)

1 Samuel 30
One time, when King David was out waging war, an opposing army from another group swept in and robbed his homeland. When King David and his fellow warriors got back and saw everything gone, including wives and children, they were pretty broken up. David sought the Lord, and the Lord told him to pursue and overtake those who had stolen from them. Some were tired from battle, so they stayed behind. David took the rest and they caught up to army of thieves and got everything back, EVERYTHING.

Someone got the not so bright idea not to share with those who were to tired and stayed back, but David, being a man of God, said everything gets returned and the spoils were to be divided with everyone, EVERYONE.

That’s the heart of God. He responds when we respond. David sought the Lord and pursued, God came through.

Is there something you need to seek the Lord about? Then pursue! Sitting on your bum isn’t getting you anywhere.

Share what’s on your heart.
