Garden Stand Alone

Standing alone. Standing proud.

Sometimes it is easier to focus on one thing, than try to see the collective whole.

There is indeed beauty in this one flower, but there is also beauty in the entire garden.

When you look at a garden, do you see a single flower or do you just take it in as a whole lot of flowers? If I’m visiting a garden, I myself see all of them combined, but sometimes I notice how a particular flower might stand out. This particular flower, if you can see super close, even has a bit of spider web coming from one of the petals. Even the smallest of creatures pay closer attention to some flowers.

So, in the garden of life, are we individuals or part of a whole? Some days I feel like I’m standing alone in the crowd. Others I feel part of a wonderful garden of God’s creation.
