Sometimes it is easier to handle the rain and storms of life when a rainbow graces the sky in the midst of the storm. I love how with rainbows there is both a scientific basis and a scriptural basis. Rainbows can speak to the scientist and the artist. So many things in nature can do the same.

There’s the mixture of sun and water and all the elements but lining up correctly to create the rainbow. There is also the promise of God’s love is shown through a rainbow all the way back to the time of the great flood and promised to Noah. It’s nature that God created that combines to make such beauty and a reminder of peace and calm that can come even in the most unruly of times.

Next time you see a rainbow, thank God for his everlasting promise.
