I’ve oftIMG_0074en heard the saying, “When one door closes, another one opens.” I believe this saying to be true, but I also know how frustrating it is to wait for this door to open. Sometimes it’s hard to find the door to begin with!

What do you do when the door closes? Are you more apt to sit and stare at the closed door? Or are you one that immediately starts searching for the next door that will open?

Sometimes it helps to look for just a bit at the closed door and see what lessons you can take from it. Maybe those lessons will help you approach the next door with skills you didn’t have before and the new door can be an even better door than you could have imagined.

It takes a little trust and patience to find and appreciate the next door.
