One of my favorite things to read is “Footprints in the Sand.” When I was living in Portland, Oregon and drove to the coast I tried to make my own footprint in the sand, but it was either too wet or my feet were too light. I was disappointed at first but then I decided to try a different vision of a message in the sand. I wrote “I love you” and sent it up to Heaven and thought about all of the love I’ve been lucky enough to experience in my life.
The message could also be one God has sent to us. Some days it may be hard to grasp, just as sand is hard to keep in your hands, but perhaps it’s good to keep a photo like this around.
