I am ready for spring. I want to put away my winter coat and feel the warm air on my bare arms. Maybe you are lucky enough to live where the weather is nice and warm more time out of the year than not. Winter can feel long for those who aren’t so lucky.
Winter can teach us many things, especially in our faith life if we let it. I know I have to learn patience with the drive through snowy or icy conditions. I have to learn hope that spring will come again. I have to picture the trees with their leaves on it again.
In the winter of our faith, we, too, can learn patience with the rocky roads of believing when all we see contradicts what we see. We can know from prior experience that spring will come again.
What is your coat of armor for springtime? Please feel free to comment!
