There is something so peaceful I find listening to running water in a stream or river. Watching the water flow can be mesmerizing and can put me in a more reflective mindset.
The constant flow reminds me that we are always changing our own hearts and minds. We have days where the stream may seem to trickle and others when it feels like rushing water.
Next time you get the opportunity to sit by the water, take a deep breath. Bring to mind what you are grateful for and things that bring you joy. Picture the blessings floating on top of the water. And thank God for the blessings of water and those who are in your lives.
