IMG_1264With summer comes beautiful green grass. People spend time outside cutting the growing green blades to a certain length. Some like to cut the grass short, perhaps as short as putting green. Some may prefer grass to be a little longer to keep it from turning dry and brown.

I remember being told that when I was a baby I disliked sitting in the grass. It took awhile to get used to because it felt sharp. I’ve grown to appreciate blades of grass more as I’ve gotten older. I think of how each blade is unique, just like each of us.

If we compare our spiritual life to blades of grass, are they green and full of life? Or do you need to nourish the brown blades in another way? Share the shape of your spiritual grass in the comments.
