This image was taken of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. It is only one piece of the long bridge. 

For me it is a reminder to look upward. If I have a lot on my mind or if I am struggling with something, I tend to keep my head down, watching only where my feet are going.

I can forget that there is sky and beauty and other ways of looking at things.

We need to look upward every once in awhile, especially in our faith life. There are so many things we can miss if we are always looking down. ‘

Take a step outside today, raise your head and thank God for what is above.
