My favorite thing about the Christmas season is the abundance of lights. It is especially comforting when the sun seems to set earlier and earlier.

It is tempting to be overwhelmed by the darkness.

But in our faith, we know that the darkness is followed by the light. On Christmas day, all the light of the world was poured out into a little baby.

We need to search for the light in this season. Are there people in your life who would qualify as light for your lives?

Perhaps buy a special gift for them of a candle! Christmas lasts more than a day, it’s not too late to shop!
