My favorite thing about this season is the abundance of light. The colors are varied on the trees, on porches, in the windows. 

It is tempting in this season of darkness to become frustrated, but I believe God gives us extra pieces of light when we need it the most.

The lights can be candles or they can be kind words from a friend. It is the season of gifts and what a greater gift than to be a light for a friend in need.

This season, offer a candle to someone who needs it. Bring light into the lives of those who only see the darkness. It will inevitably lead to more light in your life.
