The winter season can be difficult. Weather is much colder and perhaps snow falls have coated the green grass.

At the beginning of this month I still saw roses blooming. I couldn’t believe it. I am the world’s least fan of winter. I wish I could move to the desert some days!

But seeing the roses in bloom reminded me that we can find springtime any time — in our hearts. We can be warmed by our faith no matter how cold we feel.

If you can’t find a live rose in bloom, cut a picture of one out of a magazine or draw one to remind you of the warmth of faith and joy.
