Yesterday, we went back and forth to Detroit to see the mighty “Fish Marlins” beat the Tigers. One out of three ain’t bad. It was a good game, I got some sun, Joseph got very sweaty.

This will be a busy week: I have a project I really need to finish up today, then this week I must write some catalog copy and discussion questions for a couple of books, do some reading (okay, a lot of reading), then next week more of the same, minus the catalog copy, but plus finishing up a look at the first pass of the copyedit phase of the fall Loyola book.

And I haven’t yet contacted the babysitter to see when Joseph can be squeezed in between her kids’ swimming lessons, etc….

Oh, and I’m speaking in Cincinnati on Saturday. Here. It’s a morning-long affair, but my talk is at 10:45, and I can’t imagine it’s not okay for you to just come for that if you’re so inclined. There will be books sold, and I’ll be signing.
