I’m back – 24 hours after I left, and I’m not wiped out. I actually slept like a stone on the plane from LA – I fell asleep before we took off and didn’t wake up until they announced we were descending – and even then, I went back to sleep because with a big airport, that’s always about 30 minutes before you land.

Talk seemed to go well – met several blog readers! Hi folks! Katherine Coolidge, director of evangelization at the parish was a fine host, and they are very blessed to have her. I was very pleased to meet Clayton Emmer, who came down from HollywoodLand.

No, I didn’t see the Cathedral – the plane was a tiny bit late, and then it took at least 45 minutes for the baggage to come down – I had brought books with me, so I sort of had to get them.

But I did get a very nice view of the Pacific and Catalina Island, which of course I’d never seen before (the only part of CA I’d ever been in was San Francisco) – that was pretty gorgeous from an overview on Palos Verdes Dr. That was probably better, I’d say..

Gotta do some things, then blogging.
