It’s going to be a busy weekend at Notre Dame. Interesting, as well. In addition to the Pro-Life Conference on Saturday, the Eucharistic Procession on Sunday, tomorrow – Friday, Bishop D’Arcy, who expressed "strong disappointment" with President Jenkins’ letter, will be speaking, sponsored by the law school’s St. Thomas More Society, on "The Bishop as Pastor and Teacher" The young woman who organizes this series, of which I was a small part last fall said, "Well, you got the biggest crowd of any of our speakers…but I think Bishop D’Arcy might beat you." Yup, I suspect she’s right. What a weekend to be at Notre Dame!
