Shawn at TLM reports on what a French paper is saying:
The Ecclesia Dei commission is meeting tomorrow on the whole subject.
Benedict XVI shortens the timelines [?] for the reconciliation of the followers Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. The Commission, “Ecclesia Dei”, instituted for this purpose by John Paul II, tomorrow, in a first plenary session, will meet in order to discuss itself the issue of the liberalization of the Mass in Latin.
The French Catholic agency, "I.Media" reports that Cardinal Jean-Pierre Ricard, Archbishop of Bordeaux and president of the French episcopal Conference has reached Rome in order to participate in the meeting. During their [own] session from the 4th to 9th of November, the French bishops had expressed concern for the plan to liberalize the Latin Mass and “their attachment to the liturgy of the Second Vatican Council”, also [relayed?] in a message addressed to the Pontiff “their communion” with Benedict XVI, and their committment “to be open to reconciliation in the truth and charity.’"
