…what is going on in the Anglican Communion right now. Every time I think I get it, I don’t. Can someone just explain what major events will be going on over the next few months and where the major players are standing right now?

Update: Okay, I think this is my central question at this point (which you can answer when comments re-open in the AM). Exactly how could the TEC be booted from the Anglican Communion, if not by its own choice? Would the primates vote to kick it out? Is that a realistic possibility? And if that happened, would the TEC still have the right to fight U.S. parishes and dioceses that wanted to separate themselves from TEC?  (Fight for property that is) Would they still do it? Question inspired by this thread at MCJ  The theological questions are no mystery to me. It’s the politics I’m trying to sort out.
