I’ve not had the time or opportunity to really explore the reception of the Pope’s letter to Chinese Catholics, but here are a couple of comments:

Adam Minter does as well, including this post with links. What I’m picking up is that Cardinal Zen seems to be distancing himself from the letter somewhat, the underground Church is not happy, but the state-approved Church is in general, ignoring the letter.
