I am incredibly stressed at the moment. I have a major thing due on Wednesday, a thing which is vexing me and to which I feel unequal, a minor thing due on Tuesday (the minor thing’s editor would without doubt give me an extension of a day or two, but I really don’t want that – I want all of this to be DONE), everyone is still here and around, since school doesn’t start until the 20th, and they have their needs (things like a round of appointments,  running off energy at the park this morning for two hours…), I have to put anything but these responsibilities out of my head.
So…blogging on the already sparse new blog will be nonexistent, I think, until Thursday. I really need to hit this, hard. Then we’ll see what happens.
In the meantime, news happens and I want to remind you, in case you’ve forgotten, that there’s some excellent blog-gathering going on over at the New Advent Site, which you may think is only the “Old Catholic Encyclopedia” site, but is much, more including some great aggregating being done by Kevin Knight. Go visit!

Gardens: hard to keep up when you’re gone for five weeks in the summer. The tomatoes are here, but small (and I don’t think it’s the variety). The herbs are great, and one of the pepper plants is freakishly tall, I think. It’s a pretty sad site, but what’s there tastes fine…
