Amid all the really serious threats and destruction, I have to note a rather unfortunate Catholic apologetics group. Fullness of Truth contacted me a while back and asked me to be a part of a Da Vinci Code event they were doing. Unfortunately, I’d already accepted another engagement for that weekend. Oh well, they said, please be a speaker at our October event on the "New Evangelization." Sure, I said.
Well, the second event, while indeed in October, was planned for New Orleans (Kenner, actually). Umm…cancelled.
The Da Vinci Code event was to be this weekend…in Houston. I feel so badly for them! Talk about frustration!
Anyway:
The Anchoress would like us to join in storming heaven…along with a cloud of witnesses…
A contact with a parish in Guantanamo Bay is asking for rosaries and other Catholic goods..
