The original sin, but still highly enjoyable pastime of parents everywhere is criticizing other parents. God knows what people say about the mother of the little boy in striped shirts.

But pardon me if I wonder about the two boys – brothers, I suppose, who got off the school bus yesterday. They seemed to be about 9 and 11, and they looked content enough.  Perhaps they just really liked their identical haircuts – elaborate mullets, with the tails trailing halfway down their backs.
