Up in Rosemont, Illinois – (is there really a Rosemont? Or is it “Rosemont, Suburb of Chicago, Illinois?) – anyway up in Rosemont, next to what used to be the Rosemont Arena or something but is now, of course, named after a corporation (Allstate), there’s a Target.
I’m familiar with this Target, because it seems as if every time in the past we’ve stayed at the Residence Inn next to the Target, we’ve needed to walk to the Target to get some essential that was forgotten. One year, I remember, it was a pair of jeans for me. I don’t think I’d actually forgotton my pants. Perhaps I’d arrived in shorts or capris and the weather proved cooler than expected. I have no idea.
Do you know from where I just returned?
From the Target next to the Rosemont…er Allstate Center.
Getting essentials right before it closed.
Which just tells you that life is just a great big beautiful circle and it’s great to be in Chicago.
Of course I’m supposed to be in NASHVILLE RIGHT NOW SO THANKS A LOT AMERICAN AIRLINES AND O’HARE  AIRPORT.
Yeah. I left the house at 5 and now five hours later, I’m in…Chicago.
See y’all on the other side.
Most of all, I hope I’ll see y’all in Nashville tomorrow….
