Grandfather!
(As in – the shirt was from my dad’s visit to Rome several years ago – it as for Joseph, but he would never wear it because he’s squirrely about his shirts. Now it fits Michael. Hat is also from Grandfather – from his trip to the French Open maybe 11 or 12 years ago. Photo taken at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, which, I’m telling you, is an amazing gift in this city. It’s basically a humongous (free), diverse park which even includes substantial woodsy, hilly areas, with plenty of space to wander, quiet space to think, and very good running/walking paths.)
