Watchwoman: Here in Downtown Cleveland the black spokesmen insisted that 67% of the workers on a gambling casino had to be black workers because 67% of Cleveland’s population is black.  They made the owner of the Cavs, Dan Gilbert, who is the connected guy building the casino, get his contractor to change that ratio to equal 67% — and they even shut him down and blocked Cleveland city’s streets with mob-union thugs.  Why didn’t Sharpton, Farrakhan, Jackson, Maxine Waters, and the rest of the race bating mouths speak up on this outrageous slight of black people working on Dr. King’s memorial?  Anybody know why?  Frankly, when I saw a picture of the statue, with half his legs still not carved out, I was shocked.  I don’t know why, but this offended me, like he’s only half complete.  Like couldn’t they finish carving his legs?  It is just one more example of stupid art.  That’s not startling; however, just read the 45 Communist Goals – #22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.” And #23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”   ▬  Donna Calvin   (See below for link to complete list of 45 Communist Goals.)

“Dr King [statue] appears slightly Asian in Mr Lei’s rendering” say critics . . . read on . . .

Martin Luther King Memorial Made in China

Posted on August 25, 2011 by Conservative Byte

It is perhaps a fitting tribute to racial co-operation. However, the decision to outsource to China the carving of a new national memorial to Martin Luther King has raised eyebrows in the United States.

The 30ft-tall statue, which forms the centrepiece of a $120 million (£73 million), four-acre memorial to Dr King, opened to the public on Monday on the National Mall in Washington. It is the only memorial on the Mall that does not honour a president or fallen soldiers.

Standing in the shadow of the Washington Monument, the statue shows Dr King emerging from a mountain of Chinese granite with his arms crossed and is called The Stone of Hope.

However, there has been controversy over the choice of Lei Yixin, a 57-year-old master sculptor from Changsha in Hunan province, to carry out the work. Critics have openly asked why a black, or at least an American, artist was not chosen and even remarked that Dr King appears slightly Asian in Mr Lei’s rendering.
