A 44-year-old man arrested for stealing from a Catholic church.

Police tell 19 Action News Eddie Davis broke into Holy Name Church on Broadway in Slavic Village on August 17th.

He is accused of stealing the whole Tabernacle – with the Eucharist still inside.

Davis was arrested Monday after sources tell 19 Action News a break came when police got information from scrap yards.
