Watchwoman: Bullying is the latest word in the communist anti-Christ encyclopedia of illusion. The word bullying has been transformed to mean that anyone who dares make a statement from the Holy Bible saying that God says sodomy is sin is a bully. This evil bill S6779 introduced by a Republican, Sen. Thomas F. O’Mara (R—Big Flats) in the New York State Senate, would require that any anonymous post online is subject to removal if the poster refuses to post — and verify — their legal name, their IP address, and their home address. In other words, this would do away with Beliefnet bloggers, all conservative bloggers’ web sites, and much more! There is nothing well intentioned about this bill, don’t believe for a moment that O’Mara is ignorant — or at least, I don’t believe such nonsense. Alas, I feel certain that many ignoramuses who will believe in the innocence of this bill because there are a lot of stupid, simple, people out there. I’ve come in contact with many of them over and over again writing this blog. They leave many more comments than the righteous, informed people out there in cyberland. They are hateful and vengeful — they hate Jesus Christ and spew their evil words out. You can take this to the bank, this NY bill has nothing to do with protecting you from all the spam in your inbox or someone saying something snotty about your teenager on Facebook, it is all about making certain the government will have legal authority to pull everyone from the Net they don’t like who criticizes government policy, Hollywierd’s grossness, and who says one thing from the Bible that is not condoned by the current administration in power, including saying sodomy is a sin and saving the life of an unborn baby from being brutally slaughtered in it’s mother’s womb is a righteous action. In other words, this NY bill is designed to keep every decent Christian human being out there flying openly in the breeze so that any crazy whacko can come to your house and destroy you and your family. Who will ever forget the “b*tch in the ditch” camped outside of President Bush’s ranch in Texas? Well, if this bill passes you’ll find many “b*tches in ditches” outside the homes of people like Jay Sekulow, your pastor if he’s worth his salt and preaches holy righteousness (most don’t) and little, insignificant people like me who dare to speak the truth on blogs. Will you rise up against it? Did you stand up in 1973 for life? Well, if you didn’t I suspect you won’t stand up now either! New Yorkers, vote Sen. Thomas F. O’Mara (R—Big Flats) into oblivion the first chance you get! Fire him! He is a traitor to the USA and the U.S. Constitution! If you can, find just cause to impeach him and start proceedings ASAP! He’s a tyrant, a traitor and a dictator! And in Item #2, all the same goes for the creepy legislation H.B. 2288, in Hawaii that was introduced by Democrat State Rep. John Mizuno (D). Democrats and Republicans alike are out to steal your freedoms! Don’t let them! I’ve included contact information for both O’mara (R-NY) and Mizuno (D-Hawaii). ▬ Donna Calvin

If the NY bill passes, get ready to hand over your full name and home address

Anonymity is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, the United States was founded, in part, thanks to Thomas Paine’s anonymously written, pro-revolution pamphlet Common Sense. On the other hand, 12-year-olds who post anonymously on the internet can be rather unpleasant and cause real problems by cyberbullying. Whether you think the good outweighs the bad, this news is troubling indeed: A far-reaching bill introduced in the New York State Senate could end the practice of posting online once and for all.Sen. Thomas F. O’Mara / NY Senate Introduced by New York State Sen. Thomas F. O’Mara (R—Big Flats), S6779 would require that any anonymous post online is subject to removal if the poster refuses to post — and verify — their legal name, their IP address, and their home address. From the (likely well intentioned) bill:”A web site administrator upon request shall remove any comments posted on his or her web site by an anonymous poster unless such anonymous poster agrees to attach his or her name to the post and confirms that his or her IP address, legal name, and home address are accurate. All web site administrators shall have a contact number or e-mail address posted for such removal requests, clearly visible in any sections where comments are posted.”Critics are quick to point out how dangerous and ineffective the anti-privacy bill would be in the off chance that it somehow passes. After all, IP addresses do nothing to verify a person’s identity, and including your home address on a controversial internet post could open you up to real-life threats. In effect, the bill is an online stalker’s dream. Of course, the most likely result of the bill’s passage would just be the full-scale elimination of all comment systems everywhere, because the system is an unworkable burden on both the poster and the “web site administrators” who would need to respond to ludicrous take down requests at all times of the day.[via Geekosystem]This article was written by Fox Van Allen and originally appeared on Tecca

Creepy new anti-privacy bill being considered by Hawaii legislature
In what is only the latest attempt at government intrusion on internet users’ privacy, the Hawaii State Legislature is currently debating a bill that would create a massive database of what state residents visit which websites. If passed, it would be the most wide-reaching anti-privacy web initiative in the country.
The bill, H.B. 2288, was introduced by State Rep. John Mizuno (D). According to the bill’s official description, it “requires internet service providers to keep consumer records for no less than 2 years.” The bill spells out exactly what must be recorded: “each subscriber’s information and internet destination history information,” which includes any of the following: “internet protocol addresses; domain name; or host name.” The Hawaii State Senate is considering a similar measure, S.B. 2530.
One major problem with the bill, aside from the obvious privacy concerns, is that it’s incredibly vague. Not only could it require cable companies to keep detailed records, but public libraries, resorts with guest computers, and even coffee shops that offer customers free wifi could be on the hook to keep records, as well.
According to State Senator Jill Tokuda (D), the senate sponsor of the bill, H.B. 2288 and S.B. 2530 were filed in response to a dispute involving State Rep. Kym Pine (R) and her ex-web designer. The web designer is alleged to have hacked Pine’s email.
